catch the bus!


I just received this email from the Mahwah Museum. If you haven't seen or walked through the Gibson bus, and you'll be finding yourself anywhere near Mahwah, NJ next Thursday, you should plan to see and experience it.t   If you're working, it will be open until  6:30 p.m.  Here's all the pertinent info:



BUS TO VISIT MAHWAH MUSEUM
Thursday, February 21 
The Gibson Bus will be visiting the Mahwah Museum, 201 Franklin Turnpike, on Thursday, February 21 from 2 - 6:30 p.m.   The Museum will be open from 2 - 5 p.m. on February 21 so visitors to the bus can also see the Museum Exhibit “Les Paul in Mahwah: a Tribute.”  
The Gibson Bus is often made available to prominent musicians to travel between venues. It contains sleeping areas, two luxury lounges and two professional studios.Visitors to the bus can also see Gibson guitars such as the one made for Paul McCartney. There are many pieces of memorabilia including guitars, gold records and many other collectibles. 
Visitors will be able to sign up for two upcoming special events.  On Les Paul Guitar Night,  Wednesday, February 27, musicians will be able to play some of the guitars on display in the Les Paul exhibit.  Visitors can also sign up for the March 12 Gallery Talk with Lou Pallo, an original member of the Les Paul Trio and close friend of Les Paul.  Seating is limited, and both of these events require advance reservations.  For more information, please visitwww.mahwahmuseum.org, call 201-512-0099, or click here
